Pumice Vessel

Scoria, a type of pumice, is a dark-colored rock that is composed of volcanic glass. This material was once used by the Rapanui people of Easter Island to carve the pukao (or topknots) for their distinctive moai statues.

This is my take on imitating the creation of this material in my studio.
